From leaked renders, the V11s 5G looked to sport a standard rectangular design with a noticeable bottom bezel. It was reported to measure 8.4mm thin and weigh 189g, ensuring a decent in-hand feel.

Upfront was said to be a 6.5-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution. Though not the sharpest, the 720p density would have helped optimize performance from the Dimensity 810 chip and boosted battery life too versus higher res screens.

Hardware and Performance

Under the hood was the capable mid-range MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset paired with up to 6GB RAM. This would have enabled 5G connectivity while handling everyday tasks smoothly.

Gaming performance from the Mali-G57 GPU seemed adequate for most titles too. Entry-level performance was expected to be comparable to phones like the Galaxy M32 5G.

Cameras and Battery

For imaging, a dual rear setup of 13MP primary and 2MP depth sensors was touted. Selfies would have come from an 8MP shooter. While basic, Realme’s software processing does an able job.

Powering the whole package was stated to be a 5000mAh battery with 18W charging. This combination usually delivers solid 1-2 day battery life, important for 5G. Fast charging would have topped the cell in a decent time.

Conclusion

Targeted as an affordable 5G entrant, the Realme V11s 5G appeared to check many right boxes on paper for the estimated $190 price. Its cancellation remains a mystery though similar specs can now be found on phones like the Moto G62 5G. Realme’s 5G push continues with newer models.
