Available in two attractive colorways, the GT5 sports a premium glass and aluminum construction that feels great in the hand. At just 8.9mm thick and 205g light, it’s surprisingly compact for a phone packing this level of power.

Propelling the GT5 to new heights is Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of blazing-fast UFS 4.0 storage. Early real-world use feels ridiculously speedy and fluid across all tasks.

Gaming performance is on another level with all titles running at max settings without slowdown. Benchmark scores put it above current Android flagships from Samsung and Xiaomi too. 5G connectivity powers great download speeds during our testing.

Cameras and Battery Life

Its triple rear camera setup includes a 50MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro lens. Selfies are handled by a 16MP shooter. Video capture tops out at 4K60 which is amongst the best.

A sizable 5240mAh battery paired with 150W SuperFlash fast charging refills from 0 to 50% in just 7 minutes as claimed. Realme promises a full day’s power even with heavy usage which seems achievable.

Pricing and Availability

Pricing starts from about €380 which undercuts rivals by over €100 for matching or better specs. Performance is unmatched while design and build quality rival anything out there. First impressions indicate the GT5 could truly shake up the flagship space.
