It comes in Midnight Black, Aurora Green, and Sunrise Blue colors with a minimal yet stylish look. Button placement is suitable with the side-mounted fingerprint reader doubling as a power key.

Display

Upfront is a 6.6-inch LCD screen with FHD+ resolution and a buttery smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Colours appear vibrant and the maximum brightness of 600nits ensures excellent outdoor visibility.

With slim bezels all around, the 20:9 aspect ratio display gives an immersive view of media. The 84.4% screen-to-body ratio further enhances the experience. Overall, it offers fluid visuals.

Hardware and Performance

Powering the V25 is the efficient Snapdragon 695 5G Mobile Platform paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. For day-to-day tasks, performance is zippy with apps launching quickly.

Heavy gaming is handled well too with popular titles running smoothly at high settings. The additional RAM also aids in intensive multitasking. Storage is generous at 256GB.

Cameras

The triple rear camera array is headlined by a 64MP main sensor. Photos take good shots with ample lighting though noise creeps in quickly in low-light conditions.

The 2MP macro and depth units provide some versatility. Selfies from the 16MP front shooter are finely detailed. Video recording maxes out at 1080p30 which is decent.

Battery Life

The 5000mAh battery paired with Snapdragon 695’s power efficiency delivers over a day of moderate usage comfortably. At 33W, full charging takes around an hour which is quite quick.

Even with 120Hz switched on, standby time averaging 2-3 days is very good. The bundled 33W adapter complements the phone excellently well.

Verdict

Priced around 290 euros, the Realme V25 offers premium hardware and features at a sensible price point. Reliable performance combined with generous RAM and speedy charging makes it a sensible daily driver option.

Build quality and low-light photos could see improvement. But overall, it succeeds as a capable 5G companion for average users seeking value for money. Highly recommended!
