Made of plastic, the Narzo 50 weighs 194g with a uniform thickness of 8.5mm. Ergonomics are decent thanks to curved edges though build quality isn’t the most premium.

It’s available in Speed Blue and Black colors with a minimal yet stylish look. Button placement is convenient with the side-mounted fingerprint reader doubling as a power key.

Display

Upfront is a 6.6-inch LCD screen with FHD+ resolution and a buttery smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Colours appear vibrantly while the maximum brightness ensures good outdoor visibility.

The 20:9 aspect ratio gives an immersive view. With slim bezels all around, the 84.6% screen-to-body ratio enhances the visual experience. Overall, it provides fluid visuals.

Hardware and Performance

Powering the Narzo 50 is the MediaTek Helio G96 chipset with an octa-core CPU and Mali-G57 GPU. For regular tasks, performance is zippy with apps launching quickly.

Heavy gaming is handled well too with popular titles running smoothly. The 4/6GB RAM variants aid multitasking adequately. Storage maxes out at 128GB with microSD support provided.

Cameras

The triple rear camera array is headlined by a versatile 50MP main sensor. Photos take good shots with ample lighting though noise creeps in quickly in low light conditions.

The 2MP macro and depth units provide some versatility. Selfies from the 16MP front shooter are finely detailed. Video recording maxes out at 1080p30 which is decent.

Battery Life

The 5000mAh battery paired with Helio G96’s efficiency delivers over a day of moderate usage comfortably. At 33W, full charging takes around an hour which is quite quick.

Even with 120Hz enabled, standby time averaging 2-3 days is good. The bundled 33W adapter complements the phone excellently.

Verdict

Priced around Rs. 9,000, the Narzo 50 offers strong all-round specs and features at an affordable cost point. Reliable performance combined with fast charging makes it a sensible choice for young users. Build quality and low-light photos could see improvement. But overall, it succeeds as a capable daily driver on a tight budget. Highly recommended!
